Check access and limits

Plan for interruptions
An external service can be slow or unavailable. Decide whether work should retry, wait for staff review or fail with a clear message. Avoid telling a visitor that an action succeeded when the receiving system has not accepted it.
Make support practical
Keep useful logs without exposing credentials or unnecessary personal information. Define who investigates failed transfers and how duplicate records are prevented. Test recovery as part of acceptance, not only the ideal successful request.
